Quantum and Seagate:

From Briefing.com

Quantum Corp. (QNTM) 19 3/4 -5/8: disk-drive maker posts a fiscal 3Q operating net of $0.29 a share, a penny shy of the First Call estimate, vs year-ago net of $0.36 a share; revenues rose 2% to $1.5 bln.....

Seagate Technology (SEG) 19 5/8 +1/2: disk drive maker plans to take a 2nd qtr charge of $300 mln, as it reduces its global workforce by 10%....

Things don't look too good for Iomega tomorrow.

Regards,

Vic

I use Schwab 500. They're pretty good, although I keep meaning to move the accounts to Yamner & Co. (Steve Goldman's firm). The paperwork just sits on my desk day after day and stares at me.

I put the order in at 92 and got it. I get a real thrill out of making money on the short side. But the AOL is a fairly risky one. A real gang tackle and tempting target for a big hitter who might want to engineer a squeeze. Normally, I'd use puts but I don't know when this turkey will tank.
