Don't tell me something you read in a right wing blog or FAKE NEWS article. Tell me about the democratic socialism that you lived in... but unfortunately YOU CAN'T!!!! Cause you HAVEN'T. All you lived in Spain was during a fascist authoritarian and murderous military dictatorship of fascist Franco. And maybe you were too young at the time but something tells me some of your family must have been high members of the bloodiest butchering fascist Franco regime, and left when Franco died and everything started to fall apart, and 100s of thousands survivors on the other side had scores to settle with the murdering traitors of fascist Franco regime.

Socialism with record wealth disparity at same time and record debt levels, low labor force participation rates and push for open borders doesn't seem compatible but shows the dire situation we are in if we don't thread the needle just right. Many countries going the hard right populist route now. To me is summed up as patriotism, respect for national culture and history, faster private sector growth and security on both a local and national level be it Italy, Brazil or USA.. Don't know if you saw Bannon on Maher the other week. GOP should listen to him more.. Trump era our last shot and few talking about that.. Probably the one thing I hate not addressed at all is trillion dollar annual deficits.. Trickle down at this point from the plutocrats is a scam plus need more policy and training to get people off welfare to work with 6M+ job openings unfilled..
