Sigh...are you having problems following a thread of thought today? I started out with saying that the representative should be living in the district he is representing. This makes it obvious who the neighbors ought to be. Yes, I know they have to be in DC. But that cannot/should not come at the expense of losing touch with the people they are supposed to be representing. Spending all their time in DC and coming home only to campaign is how they find themselves having more in common with the swamp creatures than the people they should be representing.
