Not saying this is Mr. Tsu's point of view, but usually when someone says socially liberal, fiscally conservative they mean spend up the wazoo but balance that by taxing up the wazoo. socially liberal really doesn't mean anything. Does it mean government should but out of people's business? I'm on board with that. Does it mean never ending growth of social manipulation through government programs and regulation? Count me out. The two are 180 degree contradictions but are easily covered by the phrase socially liberal.
