Dana, After reflecting on the AccuMed's press release of January 14, several questions have come to mind. Perhaps you could shed some light on these areas. 1. Will NewCo be strictly a research and development company or will it be involved also in the marketing, distribution, and selling of a product? I am not clear on what the mission statement of NewCo is. 2. The press release states that AccuMed will be providing operational management of NewCo. Will this be funded by NewCo or by AccuMed? 3. The press release also states AccuMed will be contributing the advanced TracCell system (3000 series) to NewCo in one place and states that AccuMed will retain rights to the AcCell 3000 fully-integrated microscopy workstation in another. Can you shed some light on this apparent contradiction? 4. Will Dr. Norman Pressman still be directly associated with AccuMed International? If so, will his primary appointment be with AccuMed or NewCo? Thanks, Cisco

Dana, One more question: The press release speaks of one of the initiatives of NewCo as being specimen collection. What is this in reference to? Is this part of the technology being contributed by one of the unnamed strategic partners? In particular does this reference cervical specimen collection and processing? Thanks again, Cisco
