<< It looks like to me that the tide has turned up on COMS. Eric B's sayings the last few days and
the industrys release of info seem to be paving the way up. >>

Even I will admit that it is temporarily acting better. I have yet to see what was so bullish about the analyst meeting. COMS said a couple of months ago that they expected to have their inventory problems dealt with by the end of the current Q. They already suggested that this quarter would be hurt by the continual inventory corrections so expectations are dampened. I am curious how bad they will make the current Q turn out to start on solid footing for the future.

I think part of the move in COMS recently (secondary to a nice rebound in the networkers and overall market) is the fact that they are slated to announce a slew of new products next week in conjuction with Comnet (I think that's what it's called). New product introductions always seems to help out the stock price temporarily.

<< Craig in my over 30 years of investment experience the opportunity is now for the longs. We should see a significant rise in the stock from here >>

Why? Care to share? I'm more bullish (or less bearish) on the market in general than I am COMS. I am looking to selectivly go long some bargains.

Regards

Did anyone see that announcement about Intel expanding into small business networking (on Yahoo)? Remember the last time Intel threatened COMS (price cuts on NICs and hubs)?

Any thoughts?

Chris

Eric; Have you noticed the absence of Craig's diatribes on
why CISCO was/is such a good short on the Cisco thread?
I think history will repeat itself here on the COMS thread.

Regards.
