I don't want to get into a long discussion about 144 and the requirements for filing upon "intent to sell." I do not believe that you have to file prior to actually selling, if, for example, your price target is above the bid. In fact, I have in the past sold shares of 3 different companies (not VLNC!) under 144, since I am an affiliate of each. In all cases, over the past 5 years, I have prepared the papers and received clearance from the company, then sold the shares, then filed the appropriate papers with the regulatory authorities. Then of course within the next week I've received too many phone calls from brokers who saw the reported sales on the SEC reports and now want my business....

I remain convinced that CR's shares have been substantially sold, except perhaps for the remaining 9,000 shares recently offered at $ 5 1/8.
I also think his reasons for selling are personal (financial, being
p.o.'d at the company, etc.) The fact is that the stock is beginning to act a little bit better despite the news of CR's sales, which I think portends well.....

HI Paul!

I think that you made a good point that it would me worrisome if we would see a whole group of insiders selling shares here. Another point would also be that if Cal Reed really would think that the stock would be tanking then why wouldn't he sell more of his 750000-900000 shares. If i think the company will not make it i would sell a much bigger portion...
