Diamond, re: P Engr. All he's doing is posting his thoughts. Do what you want with them. He only posts on AOL, and I've (and others), reposted here. He's been pretty accurate over the last 3 months. And his call is over the next period of time, not 1 day, or a few days. I daytrade, and try (emphasis on try), to make money on the up moves, and the down moves. Until we stabilize, I choose not to take long term positions. To each their own. Best of luck.

Dave

You, no doubt, have a severe case of "P Engr envy". So far the man has been right and to the day sometimes. Lighten up! Don't discredit the person. Discredit his position.

Where did PEngr talk about a bear market?

Diamond,

PEngr has never claimed he is a guru for one thing. For another, he started investing in drillers since 3 years ago, when you and I probably dont know a thing in this sector.

He is in the industry and has the business knowledge you and I dont have. For him to take such a bearish stand on downside risk of the drillers, there are got to be some basis. The downside may not come until months later or may never come.

I just want to point out PEngr has been an investor in oil service sector from 1995 and up unitl 3 months ago still was very bullish on the sector.

Could it be that ex-gurus thrive on ego and have lost their capital?
