Via your web browser, you can move your cursor up to the
CSCO symbol, and substitute other ticker symbols,
for example, Intel works:

inetfund.com

They don't cover all stocks, and some of the charts
they do have are somewhat out of date, for example, GM Hughes:

inetfund.com

A more user-friendly way to try other ticker symbols is to
visit the stockmaster charts site:

stockmaster.com

which has an ad and a link to the Baseline site
(a box on the right-hand side of the screen),
and the free chart-of-the-week (which is AAPL now).

Backing the Bullies Earnings? Price? Fugget aboutit. Buy those ruthless companies who gladly kick their rivals when they're down.

By Jim Jubak

It's not crazy. Just downright mean.

News on mergers is another hint. What company is buying smaller competitors or adding new products by acquisition while its competitors struggle? Notice how Cisco Systems (CSCO), for example, continues to buy small technology companies, while 3Com (COMS) and Ascend Communications (ASND) struggle. The company's December announcement of the acquisition of LightSpeed International, an Internet telephony firm, is just the most recent example.

Scan earnings reports by companies in currently hard-pressed industries to see who is spending on capital equipment and increasing their research and development dollars during the bad times.

Lucretius,

In reply to your question about a URL for the blue Baseline charts with an option to select other company charts try:

hoovers.com

There is a selection button at the bottom of the page. I haven't come across a stock for which they don't have a chart

Regards
Dave
