Sugar is a killer
One little snicker and my blood sugar go up 30 points ...

I love a good Ribeye Steak but it will raise my blood sugar

Bad thing about diabetes is no matter how hard you try it will get worse
I take my blood sugar at least 4 times a day
I don't like it to get above 150
if it does I take a shot of short term insulin
usually in a couple of hours I take my blood sugar again if it stays high I will take another shot

I never had this problem but you need to watch that you don't take you blood sugar to low

I am 69 and IMO keeping my blood sugar below 150 is a must for a longer life

there is ZERO harm in whole eggs.
If you remove any yolk, it makes the egg not as good for you.
The WHOLE egg was meant to be eaten by design . . nutrients in one part work in harmony with nutrients in the other. (like the whites lower the cholesterol in the yolk)
Both parts have such tremendous nutritional value.
As a whole, eggs are a Super Food . . never eat just part of it.
I eat 3 to 5 eggs every single day and my blood lipids never change .. except to go DOWN when I eat less carbs.
that's the fact.
