Craig,

You have been making ridiculous performance comments on appraising the overclocked PII-300Mhz vs 6x86L-150Mhz after wasted $1K. How's about comparing it to M2-166Mhz or K6-250Mhz running on 83Mhz bus speed boards?

My home system is an M2-166Mhz with 96MB EDO running 83Mhz bus speed on Asus T2P4. The office system is another M2-166Mhz with 128MB EDO running 83Mhz bus speed on Asus SP97-V. If your oc PII-300Mhz equipped with 32MB or 64MB while all have the same video card, are you sure that your PII-300 has faster system responding speed than either of my systems?

The point is that people used to be appraised for spending big bucks to buy the most expensive Intel systems since they were viewed as a "status". Unfortunately, time changes. In stead of appraising, the value of your excessive spending $1K on PII-266 and your judgements on such a purchase are questioned. Until you have the chance to compare the oc PII-300 vs K6-250 or M2-166Mhz, you should post how great your system is in Intel thread.
