Here's one you are going to love. When you have over 64meg (test goes from 64 to 96 meg) of RAM a "TX" based system actually SLOWS DOWN...Another Intel first. <G>

Scroll down on the right side (right scroll bar) and click on TX>64meg near the bottom...this is a real stunner. <G>

Fuchi, I'll show you mine if you show me yours. Wintune 97 isn't the most sophisticated benchmark but at least you can't fake it out with fancy peripherals. Here are the results for a PII/266 @ 75 MHz (PII/300):

Dhrystones: 625 MIPS
Whetstones: 185 MIPS
C: Cached speed: 82 MBs
RAM Read: 627 MB/s
RAM Write: 530 MB/s
RAM Copy: 426 MB/s

It would be nice to compare results with your 83MHz systems. I look forward to your reply.
