I have been checking into products I traditionally buy on line because I really don't want to pay $120.00 to AZ for my Prime membership when it expires next month. There are a few things I just can't get through Walmart's website, but for the most part, I can find a substitute there.

I recently looked for a certain type of Merrell Moab hiking boot at Walmart and they don't carry them. Of course AZ does. I've come to rely upon AZ because I know they'll have what I want and it will be delivered in two days for "free."

I hate that.

Speaking of service getting worse, I shop my local Kroger outlet here in Southern Arizona. Yesterday, a little before 10 AM, my store had NO whole milk in the half gallon size. That is, NONE. A clerk went back into the fridge and finally came back, offering me a full gallon for the same price. I turned it down as I'd just have to pour half of it down the sink before I could use it all.
I've found this type of occurrence several times over the past year or so. Not with milk, but other products that should be readily available, but shelves picked bare.
I'm wondering if we're so far south that our supply is "what ever is left after we get down there."
