Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) mocked Fox News on Saturday for hosting a panel to discuss her wardrobe, joking that network hosts have made it clear that they are “far superior to and more intelligent than me.”

Ocasio-Cortez responded to a viewer who tweeted to her Friday night that Fox was hosting a four-person panel to discuss her shoes “in prime time.” The incoming lawmaker responded with Spanish song lyrics by musician Aventura translating to “No, it’s not love, what you feel is called obsession.”

She joked that non-Spanish speakers could play Mariah Carey’s hit song “Obsession” instead, knocking the network for its frequent coverage of her.

A Twitter user quipped that Fox News would need to hire a translator to understand Ocasio-Cortez’s "roasts."

The Latina from the Bronx jokingly responded that Fox News “has made it clear that they are far superior to [and] more intelligent than me, who they’ve called a ‘little, simple person.’ ”

The incoming congresswoman has verbally sparred with Fox News since she said the network “gleefully” cracked jokes about her finances and wardrobe choices.

Ocasio-Cortez, who became the youngest woman in history elected to Congress in this year's midterm election, worked as a bartender before pulling off an upset victory over incumbent Democrat Rep. Joseph Crowley (N.Y.) in the primary election in June.

She has spoken publicly in recent weeks about how she will need to wait for her congressional salary to kick in before she can afford to rent an apartment in D.C.

A Fox News panel laughed at her situation, calling it a “brilliant political line” and knocked her for wearing designer clothes during photoshoots.

She said the network’s response was “very revealing to see how gleefully Fox News hosts crack jokes about working-class people.”

"It is bizarre to see 1%-salaried anchors laugh at the US housing crisis," Ocasio-Cortez added
