HRBC - Harbinger Corporation does EDI ( Electronic Data Interchange ). Its what E-COmmerce is all about. Computers " talking to each other " eliminating the need for fax machines and a lot of labor. Until the last few years there was no standard, but this is quickly changing. Check out there website at Harbinger.com, I would buy the stock on any weakness.

TLindt, thanks for bringing it to its appropriate board.
I noticed both(scai, hrbc) late last night(was that the ckfr thread?), and had planned to get at it this a.m. Haven't done much with the latter of the two yet, but from what I have uncovered for SCAI, I find interesting. I will watch this closely in the next month. Seems that they had a super year, consistantly through. However, I don't know where it will go from here. I appears as if they will report good earnings, However, from reading the thread, the vibe seems to be that is may have some downward slope to it before earnings.
Zacks rates them a buy @29.50
Wheat first has them as a buy on 12/17 price 24 7/8.

Earnings scheduled for mid feb., and awaiting a "big" contract announcement(both from yahoo message board).

I will look to any near future dips as buying opportunities, hopefully around the 23 or lower range, but I think as we approach earnings release, we could see 27 holding strong.Reminding myself, liking is one thing, investing is another. Also, have good ranking. Up and comming star?
p.s. I haven't even gotten into the stuff that Bruce left for you on SEEK #811. Geeze, the list just keeps growing, and growing. Any surprise? Didn't think so.

As far as the egrp, amtd debate goes, I have not taken a position in either, yet. Just too many other opportunities, and not enough cash.
I'd like to keep 50% cash(although I'm nearing the 30% range) in the event of another occurance like Oct.
I have an account with a major broker, As well as Ameritrade. I had some initail problems when I opened the AMTD account, but since then, things have gone smoothly. I mostly trade on line and have yet to miss an order(buy or sell) at the limit I entered, unless it[limit] was never realized. I read both boards, time permitting, and seems to be fairly equal in satisfaction, with maybe a slight edge going to EGRP. Possibly because of the influx AMTD experienced, both with new accounts, and new employes.
Regardless, as this thread is dedicated to the "next 100 months" to achieve our goal---Retirement? Never.---There will be plenty of time for foreward momentum. I assume that revenues and market caps. will only go up. regards A.W.

I got into CHKPF for 34 3/8, before the2 point drop at the end of the day(thursday). I have also been eyeing CKFR for a while also, and appears I should have acted early yesterday, but will watch next week and earnings announcement closely.
I better be careful or we may get on the hot subject list. later on, A.W.
