I was selling covered strangles yday as mkt swyng lower so of course I had more short calls out and at mediocre price. Lo and behold I woke up from nap as 100 pt rip was starting. Well I think the calls might be ok adter the fall but the extreme vol has me saying no way. Ended up with minor losses. This is just insane.

That's just people's bias coming out. No one likes to be wrong, but everyone will be wrong. So they get testy when they are wrong. This extreme volatility makes it worse. Brings out emotions that are a traders worst enemy.

The only constant in the market is change, your emotions and bias will blind you to the change. I know this from experience. lol.

It's show time the 15 min MACD is crossing, will it change and have juice to the down side? No idea. lol.

I redrew the Gartly, it was too bullish, I'm still struggling with those, I think they are a key to the market, that keeps the trend.

I noticed many years ago that bearish action somehow gets on people's nerves. Even those who a hedged or make money short, or out of the market - are not very happy. This goes along with the EW theory - that bear markets are a reflection of a souring of the general mood.
