That is Flynn's prerogative. And it is Dersh's to comment in the news about it. He makes a good argument.

It makes no legal sense for an immaterial lie to be a crime. It would be like trying a kid for stealing a piece of bubblegum. There is no benefit to the public interest.

I don’t know what your problem with Dershowitz is, but I do believe he's correct in this situation.

Now ask yourself why an innocent man would do that? The ONLY answer is quite chilling to honest law abiding citizens.

Even the judge that you love to partially quote said:
