Pigboy, you wrote to Janski:

<<I am still totally puzzled why you like to hang out here at all, but I think that you can listen to the last conference call for the current opinion on some of your questions. good luck>>

The answer is the same reason he hung around NUKO so long despite several warnings/issues raised by others including myself.

I personally have better things to do with my life/time than "hang out" in "dead money" folders.I would rather go to an exciting Seattle Sonics game anyday . If I don't like the company's future long term prospects or don't trust a company's management, then I take my losses like a man, sell and then redeploy my cash elsewhere. To ask probing questions, do your own research offline and offer your own solution/analysis is one thing and should be encouraged on these threads. On the other hand, to incessently whine and complain day in and day out without offering your own ideas/solutions reflects not only immaturity but a losing attitude and personna. As "JT The Brick" ( sportsfan.com) likes to say, "Life is about reality, not woulda, shoulda, coulda.." Yeah, Ancor could have done many things differently in the past ( Class 2/3 switch aimed at Storage OEM's), but that's history and those responsible for the past mistakes are either gone or been put in positions where they can do minimal damage. In their place is a new but experienced team with extensive backgrounds in the Storage industry. To those who loved to complain about Ancor's PR ( including myself on occasion), you won't have John Shaunnessy to kick around anymore. His going away party was Friday.

Ancor is what it is. A volatile, speculative stock that will soon be either boom or bust. As a company, it is a turnaround situation where the mgmt team is rebuilding ( new CEO, CFO, VP Marketing ), the customer /revenue base is small and the cash is running low. The FC market should finally lift off in second half 1998 and in the meantime, the revenues are totally unpredictable quarter to quarter. Some kind of financing/future dilution is imminent, otherwise another qualified opinion from the auditor is probable. Hence , we have a $3-6 stock price. The upshot is there are several large OEM's up for grabs in the next 1-5 months and a larger quantity of smaller OEM's evaluating FC/Brocade/ANCR . I have absolutely no doubts that Ancor's technology not only works as advertised, especially its low latency and arbitated loop ( based on testing/evaluation by 3rd parties and OEM's ) and its 4 port per asic design gives it a significant cost advantage ( 4 chips in a 16 port MKII switch versus 11-14 chips in a 16 port Silkworm ).The question is "Can Ancor turn its great FC technology into Customers, Sales and Profits in the foreseeable future"? That is the challenge that Ken, Cal, Carla and the rest of the "Minnetonka Hillbillies" have and the answer is SPECULATIVE.

If most of the above sounds like a re-hash of recent posts by Craig or Tom, I'm not surprised, because NONE OF THE ABOVE IS NEW NEWS.

PS - message to "Janski". I have Roy Sardina's phone number and address at G-2 Networks if you would like to verify for yourself that "Roy" is who he says he is. You seemed to doubt the truthfulness of those exchanges several weeks ago. I was going to respond to your allegation privately to you by e-mail weeks ago but then I found to my surprise that you do not wish to share your e-mail address with the others on Silicon Investor. It would be inappropriate for me to list Roy's phone number here since he sent it via private e-mail..perhaps you can obtain it yourself from the G-2 Networks website since you obviously have your "personal" reasons for keeping your e-mail address such a closely guarded secret. Perhaps your e-mail address is under "NDA"?

I don't remember what was said about Bull during the call.
Please refresh my memory. I am also interested in the current status
if anyone has any insight to that.
