if gung-ho reps put the turnaround in a 12 month frame, is everyone inside resigned to three dull quarters? my sources put the next major revisions of hardware around the end of the year (new graphics, 4proc Octane) the R12K sooner, and the 250mhz R10K soon. i'm also figuring end of 98' for the wintel box to show any results. also, the "mangement ego problem" goes back to at least 93' and the elevation of TJ and Ramsey, and an influx of bad drugs into MtView.

Silicon Graphics, Inc., Edward R. McCracken, Gary L. Lauer, Kenneth L. Coleman, David E. Orton, Dennis P. McBride and William M. Kelly.
