I have started to like the train again

... for whatever else the minutia-armchair-economist-readers may say, railroads opens up the hard to access, improves localities far from the centre, gives folks a stake in the game, provides second-life to abandoned factories reborn as resorts, enables locals to search overseas for good ideas to bring home, and give rise to education / centres of learning for the next generation

jack sr noted that the Chinese were good at building railroads, along w/ the Irish and team China moving on, hopefully to be tagged by the Irish

also fair at establishing neighbourhoods, farming, mining gold, and cooking. Now applying the skills to ancestral land, is all, irrespective of the pentagon "china, china, china" take.
