I once knew a fellow who talked to a lady who saw somone say (she was great at lip reading) that they thought Compaq was the leading choice of computers amoung Martians. There!!. Based on the response to Marys post that should keep you nit pickers busy until the year 2000 problem is resolved. So if she's guilty of wasting the threads time what do you think your doing. Are you all that bored. Enough already. Please!!!

I dont' own any computer stocks. My friend gave me an ear full on the phone the other nite. I have been hearing about her problems since June. She is not a first time computer user. She is a law professor and uses her computer a lot for work and learning games for her 2 yr. old. I guess I just put a note on this board, not to trash Compaq (although many took my comments personally) but, in hopes that someone might know how to get past the Compaq guy on the phone who can't authorize access to his supervisor. I apologize for expecting everyone to read my mind and interupting the investment board. I will take the problem to a newsgroup of computer users. Regards, Mary
