Charles,
If we take "biggest" literally and consider IBM to be a Java partner already, then this would have to be a huge organization indeed. Maybe GM or even the federal government. (You know, thinking back to the conference call last quarter, McNealy did talk about doing more stuff with Java in cars but said those sorts of deals were very complicated and hard to close--maybe what was in process then has panned out?) Of course, this speculation may be totally worthless, though whatever happens should be some sort of positive for the stock. Anyway, I wish the term was "customer" and not "partner."
Andy

Hi Charles - Did you see Rod's predictions over on the Novell thread?

Message 3196933

These all sound plausible to me but we all know that Rod is a bit bias against MicroSoft (as am I).

What about a major Bank rolling out some consumer application using JAVA. Perhaps 1998 will be the year for JAVA!
