Zeev,

I share your enthusiam for self improvement and therefore for acceptance of constructive criticism. Also,I would be glad to co-sign your letter to President Clinton. But I am regrettably cynical about our ability to influence the political establishment, which marches to the tune of the entrenched power bases. Unless there is political capital to be made, or unless such a move coincides with the business interests supporting the political establishment, I am afraid it will be an empty gesture, or as they say in the rural South, "Boy, you pissin' in th' wind."

Jack

While a UN tribunal (ineffective and riddled with incompetence) does exist to ferret out Rwandans for genicide, alas, I doubt it would have much success in corralling the French. After all, who does?
