What is the scale of the upward trend. Now the Earth's temp is at 288K or so. What is the trend you see ?

.3C in 40 years. or is it .3C in 20 years and 0C for 20 years. A 0.1% change

Dr. Spencer believes CO2 is part of the greenhouse gas effect that creates an insulation to the cooling rate of the Earth. But the quantifying of what that effect is, is not known. In ratie-loon circles Dr Spencer is regarded as an evil ignorant Denialist. I would say he believes CO2 greenhouse gas warming effect is far larger than myself. But I am an EE, an applied physicist of invisible forces.

I believe the major impact of CO2 is not greenhouse gas warming, but biosphere modifications on land.
A continuing reduction in desert area as CO2 allow plant in all area grow more with less water. The seasonal increase in biomass itself is a capture of solar energy that otherwise would be warming. The biomass increase becomes a thicker mulch that conserves water and also slowly releases thermal energy in decaying.

It been seen the grass area are now transitioning to bushes area. Air speeds will be lower at ground levels also conserving water.

In northern area covered with winter snow taller bushes having dark surfaces will start absorbing sunshine sooner, the heat will melt snow and conduct heat deeper into the snow pack. This will speed the melting of the winter snow cover.

This is occurring on millions of acres. These area can also be considered as increased habitat area for all life forms. Could be called anti extinction force.

I like the sun spot theory of warming and cooling, myself, but I don't have the technical chops to prove it either way.

I've been in telecommunications forever and sunspots mess up comms all the time

iirc there are like 22 year major cycles with a 11 year minor mixed inbetween

I heard on the radio someone mentioned it hasn't been this cold in 20 years, it triggered me to remember the sunspot cycles

from what I've seen online, the man-made global warming cult cannot let global temperatures be associated with sunspot activity....
