I stand corrected. And yes, I agree that tactically he has made a mistake in handling it. But I am not supportive of the party bent on self-immolation.

I think you're looking at this wrong. He never looked at his yearbook page, he says- and I believe him. He was serving in the army at the same time he graduated from med school and he was busy. He apologized because he was horrified this was on his page. As any normal person would. But then, I'm sure, he realized he couldn't remember it- and wondered just what the hell the picture was. If his story is true, it's not that bizarre that a mistake was made many years ago on the page and he never realized it- since he didn't buy the book and never looked at it. I don't want to destroy a perfectly ok dem just because he didn't check his stupid year book page a zillion years ago. Has he ever done anything racist in office? Is he like Trump- a guy who attacks immigrants and people of color AND their children? Does he foment racial hatred by publicizing minority crimes but completely ignores the flood of white male killers? (just another white male killing a bunch of people- don't need to tweet about that shit) Let's go after the real disgusting shit in this country- Trump and his team of creeps. After we get that done, then we can dance around who is pure enough to be on the dems' side. But first we get rid of the real shit.
