* SYCR Update *

Since Monday is a non-trading day, I thought I would check in with a little news and information to bring everyone up to date with SYCR:

1. Rainer met with AMEX last Friday!!!! Hopefully we will see some movement towards a listing now - the big hold up is showing the right amount of shareholder equity. They have to show that it exists or show how it will be achieved in the forseeable future. I think this is the largest potential factor that could move this stock in the short term. An AMEX listing would be enormous for this stock for so many reasons, including an end to the MM pricing fiasco and a wider interest/exposure to potential investors and institutions.

2. Big Disk reviewed in Home PC as a Best Buy! Here is a synoposis:

"Having more than one hard drive on your PC can be a little perplexing at times. Are your resource files on drive C: or D:? On which drive did you install that new program? How much space is left on drive C:? Big Disk can help you avoid this confusion. It enables your PC to read all its hard drives - as well as zip drives - as one big drive. Big Disk frees up space on the C: drive by automatically relocating existing directories and files to a secondary drive. But Windows still reads and writes to the directory and its files as if they were on the original C: drive. In other words, you don't have to keep track of where your files are - Big Disk does it for you. A file manager lets you see where items really are - you can restore them to their original location with the click of a mouse."

3. Fiscal Q2 is over and we should expect .02-.04, pretty much in line with Q1. Most of the revenue now is coming from Big Disk, Zipper, Windrenalin, and EyeCatcher.

4. We should see two products this Quarter (Jan-March). One being the product similar to Oil Change (updates your software over the Internet).

5. One of SYCR's biggest potential products, the one which lets you test drive Windows 98 without actually loading it (which is a no-going-back process) could be a huge seller. It is DONE and they are just waiting on marketing it until Win 98's release gets closer. Yes, if that get's delayed, it will push this product back. I believe, however, that when this comes out it will be a major hit. Being in the software industry and seeing the turmoil an O/S change brings, a trial run concept is brilliant!

6. Expect that long-awaited OEM deal to be announced in the next 2-4 weeks. No, I don't know why it is taking so long.

7. About 5 candidates have been reviewed for the new President's position. Nothing to report here yet, so it may be a while longer.

8. Expect Quarter's 3 & 4 (now through June) to be SYCR's strongest quarters this year. They should be very healthy and justify a significant upturn in the stock's price based on earnings alone.

9. WinningRun, the new Japanese distribution firm, has already REORDERED from their initial purchase. Looks like the Asian market will be a good one.

10. There will supposedly be a larger write up in Wall Street One, the investment newsletter, in February. I'll post more in that when I see it.

That's all I know for now. I'll report more when facts warrant. Hopefully I'll have some good AMEX news very soon. BTW - once the AMEX news appears imminent - expect major buying to pick up fast. We may already be seeing some of this beginning to occur in the last few days.

Good luck all.

Tim

I believe QDEK is giving away a product called TidyBowl, or something like that, however, that's a deliberate strategy to gain market share and upgrade licensing -- some people have actually paid 5 bucks for it from what I understand. As I mentioned, QDEK is a very risky play but less-risky than SYCR which has negative shareholder equity.
