Good Morning Ann: Thanks for the info. Have been reading your posts whenever I can. Some of your trivia / joke posts are hilarious, a welcome relief at times!! I think you mentioned some time back that your son was looking for something interesting to do in his spare time and I was going to suggest to you that you start a website like moretrivia.com or similar. You have come up with some pretty original stuff. Just a crazy idea that might go well.(gg) You sure own some volatile stocks. DHTI is looking a bit ill, but if it can hold in this general area, it could resume its uptrend. I'm assuming you bought this one around a half or so. (GG) If you like cheapies, you might want to check out Financial Intranet Inc. (FNTN). I have done a lot of DD on this one and the potential upside is enormous is the deliver on a fraction of what they expect to do...Its taking people time to figure this one out, but the news is beggining to sink in. A lot of people are starting to sit up and take notice.biz.yahoo.com biz.yahoo.com Your other stocks although the have corrected, look as if they are more in buying territory rather than selling. Here are some thoughts on the overall mkts: The negative tone in Barrons and the story about the 9 Billion Brandywine mutual fund being cashed up is potentially a near to med term positive for the market as is the reduction in bullish sentiment and renewed wall of worry. Eg. In London around late Oct, mutual funds reached their highest levels of cash in a generation, perhaps this explains the strong rebound and subsequent huge rally that began Oct 28. Also, as a general rule, bailouts are bullish. Recent examples, Chrysler, the Mex debt crisis in the early 80's, Mex in 95. Mex bolsa has more than tripled since 95 lows in March and up 56% last year. Some recovery. We bought the Korea mkt near the lows Jan 8 against a backdrop of extreme pessimism and don't touch Korea with a bargepole comments being shouted from CNBN throughout that day and look how much that has risen already. About 35%. If HK mkt can get back up over 10,000 big recovery momentum could take it to 12k. Nikkei Futures were limit up on Fri, first time since Nick Leeson Barings fiasco and has made a gigantic multi year double bottom so far against that previous low. So, if the selling is over for now in Asia and stronger than expected rebounds occur, this could produce a huge relief rally here. So far so good last week, key thing now is whether the Dow has the will and power to launch another assault on 8000. If that's a yes and we exceed, fasten seat belts. I'm not sure if the timing is right, but if it is it will likely be strong as many will not expecting it. Nonetheless, you cannot argue with the performance of the transports - a very important leading indicator as I am sure you may know. If the fear of deflation is temporarily withdrawn or removed, this creates a potentially very bullish interest rate scenario. Btw the markets are telling me that inflation is not dead by any means. Therefore, assuming a .5% fed lowering historically creates a 20% rise over next 18 months, the recent bond mkt rally could supply an equal amount of fuel and power. Just some ideas. Imo the higher we go in this mkt the stronger it gets as we approach 8k again. This has been a very troublesome frontier for the mkt since Aug, so if we did manage to close meaningfully above it this time around for more than a few days, I would have to interpret this as potentially more bullish than most are expecting at this time. Anniverserilly this is a strong period right now. btw: What kind of computer analysis / programming do you do. I think SI should put a help link on their main menu to that site. Having read about them in the news recently, they need to remain very innovative to stay competitive. Even though they have the best brand for and a lot of loyal supporters like us, they are going to be fighting for their lives as the competition from the majors intensifies. Hope your'e all having a good day rgds Wiz
