Unbelievable that his Nobel Lecture on where manufacturing will locate.... didn't even MENTION TAX RATES!!!

I did a search for "Tax" of his paper and it wasn't there... How can ANYONE CREDIBLE not take tax rates into consideration???

You have to be stupid to not look at where we (HP) were building ink jet cartridges (Ireland) 10 years before he gave that lecture! And where new chip designs were being built (outside the US) even though the biggest market for these were in the US!

I know from first hand experience with products I helped design that tax rates were one of the largest factors in deciding what country to build the products... incredible!

It is why so many of us real scientists don't have a high opinion of what "the experts" tell us....
