Hi Bob I'm starting to think "The Mule" (Asimov reference) will let the Dems eat each others young for the nomination then announce a complete deal with China to goose the economy in time for 2020 election.... Add to that spending for 5G that the crooks tried to get key stocks cheaper to load up before THAT STORY is told.... will start to ramp mid year (June/July 2019) and we could see some fun. A China deal sooner would be even better as it would mean exports ramp up and we get lower input costs. Even so, I've taken some profits as usual since my reading of clx, sentiment, etc. all suggest a pullback here would be nice but flat to wondering would do the trick too... We've had THREE declines of 14 to 21% in the past few years which most seem to ignore but us semi investors know they all served as stealth bear markets to reset our favorite capx stocks. Kirk

Oh yeah, By staying officially long but trading around core positions, I've maintained a huge lead over the S&P 500 with much less risk. Also, I'm back in a tie for 4th for "Long term" timers in Timer Digest's latest issue (yesterday). It shows how nearly impossible it is to beat buy and hold the index! When you start adding the cost of taxes on performance to jump in and out short term, it is obvious why no credible mutual funds, even with Watson looking at the data to make buy and sell decision, are offered....
