Protecting your citizens with healthcare does not mean socialism. I, who pay for my healthcare plan, get penalized when an a-hole without healthcare goes to the emergency room and does not have money to pay for it. If we require everyone to carry auto insurance, we should require everyone to have health insurance. If you don't want it, then kiss yourself and get yourself out of the "might require healthcare in the future" business. I've had it with healthcare costs being 200-300% higher than universal healthcare democratic socialist countries in europe. It's about time.
