Paul, thanks for your input. I also have been around diamond stocks for a long time and don't consider myself an expert. I get the impression that you and a few others are hurting from your MPV investments. I respect your opinion but I don't agree. I can tell you and Gabriela are MPV supporters as I am ACA supporter. I like to keep this thread to mostly Ashton issues, but I like to see a comparison on the exploration cycle on MPV versus ACA. Of course, please include the time MPV started its exploration until today, including all progress and compare it to Ashton's exploration cycle in Alberta and please include the time and money it has cost each company todate. These kind of discussions can be very interesting in the following SI thread Message 3206198 , which was setup for all Canadian diamond exploration discussions. Let me also remind everybody that Ashton has decided to continue exploring in Alberta vs NWT, and if my memory serves me right, they have an inventory of kimberlites in NWT, Cross Lake rings a bell. Ashton believes that they have a better chance of success in Alberta versus NWT, keeping in mind $$$ required to explore to production. As well, we are dealing with a parent company who owns 62% and is is one of the biggest producers in the world. Every direction needs to be approved by the Australian company. My point is, they have excellent expertise and management. As I am sure you know, diamond exploration is a long term play and a market cap of approx $375million for Ashton is not outragious with the results to date. As well, many newsletter writers have endorsed this play and will continue to support it for a long period. In my views and many others, Alberta Diamond exploration stocks WILL outperform NWT exploration stocks in 1998. Time will tell. If a company proceeds to 1000+ ton bulk sampling in NWT or Alberta, is that a positive indication? Don't follow MPV very closely, what was the outcome of their 1000+ bulk sampling. Actually, I don't know if they have completed such an activity? Regards Frank
