Does he cite any evidence in the geological record? Large ice core variations? Paleomagnetic studies? Large variations in ancient the type of pollen deposits in paleo lakes and/or river deltas? Decay of isotopes other than radio-carbon.

Geology may be the richest of all climate information sources whether our focus is on a single event, an irregular recurring event, or one which recurs regularly.
