Consider what they are up against. How are these retailers going to find competent help at low wages? Everyone with technical savy is employed.

Don't know about that. Most of the employees at my local store were a bunch of zit faced, minimum wage dweebs who looked like they would rather be out partying with Beavis and Butthead. Guess they can afford to offer low prices on merchandise by cutting corners elsewhere.
