I am so proud of Mr. Trump for following through with promise to his constituents by vetoing the misguided Senate vote, and by so doing, demonstrating REAL leadership, something Americans haven't seen in a long, long time. No clear thinking individual can seriously dispute the need for barriers to entry which makes one wonder what the real motivation of opponents is. (Rumour has it many people benefit financially from open borders.) This action sends a clear message to all those weak kneed and corrupt?) representatives, and more importantly, those who elected him, that his priority is the safety of Americans. I believe that Mr. Trump, with this decisive action, has just won the next election. Kudos President Trump!

That's very encouraging! AG Bill Barr: Mr. President your declaration of an emergency on the southern border was clearly authorized under the law and consistent with past precedent… The humanitarian and security crisis that we currently have right now on the border is exactly the type of emergency that presidents are permitted to address.
