Robert, this is my last statement here on the covenant anythjng, new or old. It has become overused and abused here, and at this point in time I don't want to hear the word again for awhile. The truth is it is simply not really very important to anyone, except the Jews. The gentiles don't even need it Robert. And you want to call me a liar here again? Fine. The gospel of John covers all bases on the deepest matters of salvation and the Holy Spirit, and the way to the top of the ladder in that realm. John does not use the word covenant. Why? Because it has really nothing to do with anything, that's why. All you need is Jesus Christ and salvation, and the Holy Spirit doesn't really even mention to gentiles that now they don't have to kill cows and goats when they're bad.. They never did anyway, except in pagan rites.. Paul clearly states to all believers the simple gospel once delivered to the saints, ande those who come to you with any other gospel except the simple gospel of salvation through Jesus CHrist he labels accursed of God.. I posted it, and even ran the words through the Strongs. I KNOW that none of the 4 of you have looked at any of my posts, except to quickly go to next and argue. You know how important the Covenant was to Jesus, Robert? How important he made it? How necessary it was to Him that all Jews get it through their heads and all gentiles fully study and understand the process of grafting in, so that they could pass a complicated exam on it at any given minute? How important, Robert, to Jesus? Huh? It wasn't. He didn't mention the word "covenant" once. It appears in all of the gospels one time, and that is to reaffirm the Covenant made with Abraham with the fathers. It is NOT A PART OF SALVATION. You have insisted Alan comprehend it, know it, acknowledge it, and be able to pass a pop quiz on it. Therefore you have denied him the status of brother in Christ because he refuses, and you have said he was of satan. Bad, bad move. Really dangerous ground you guys, but if you're dumb enough to keep it up, by all means keep it up. Therefore, Paul says that I am to call you accursed and have nothing to do with you. I'm going to obey Paul for the time being. I am through with these discussions in any form, mainly because it is all starting to really bore me, and I don't exchange with people who neither read what I say or look at it to even see if it is true. I'm just tired of all this and no longer interested.
