The murder rate was an obvious blunder It might have been a blunder the first time he said it but he kept repeating it. The way it got to be my personal favorite was that one of those times it was delivered right here in NC to a group of black cops. Cringe-worthy. In context, it seemed to be a tool for stirring up antagonism and resentment. The second through nth time he said it, it was not only a lie but a malicious one. It is inconsequential and it was an anti Trump media gone wild. I had to look up Obama's "47 states." Couldn't find that. Found 57 states, which was obviously a one-off slip-up. We chuckle and then ignore conspicuous slip-ups the same way we ignore even repeated incorrect usage of "it's" and "its" in posts (which I did but caught in this very post). Trump and his inauguration crowd, OTOH, was not one-off. He's still harping on it, still bringing it up. Who's gone wild, there? Trump's the one who made and makes his world's greatest crowd sizes important. And who won't let his "loss" in this regard go. That's not a sign of a healthy psyche. If he made the hurricane remak, which I can’t find and can’t finf the context for as a result, then I would guess it was an exaggeration of how big another storm was. Again, it simply doesn’t matter. grabien.com The reason that's among my personal favorites is that I was instantly attentive when I heard it, having personally been through Camille, a category 5. I agree wrt its importance. No real reason that Trump should know that. I was just wondering how you would categorize the statement. And the others. What I have concluded from the exercise is that you really just don't care what is or is not accurate. You only care about the actions of the bad-guys who care whether or not what Trump says is accurate and whether he cares.
