You would think that Duke showed vulnerability, but I think it was just the matchup with UCF. Williamson is among the most accurate shooters because he gets most of his points in the paint. It's not often you go up against a 7'6" guy. More precisely: that's not happening again.

We can all remember the days when half-court ball was the norm. The goal was often to get their big in foul trouble early. That's what Duke did, albeit with calls I found questionable. Maybe the refs were not used to this. Maybe Williamson is too big to fail. Maybe more no-calls were needed. Still, it came down to a couple of balls that just refused to go down. Crazy.
