A belief that 7 billion or 70 billion people could control the planet's climate with today's distribution of tech and resources is idiotic.
If you want to see how three billion people can affect the environment, look no further than Asia.

There are yellow dust storms due to Chinese overcultivation of their land. It reaches all the way to Japan.

There are severe air quality issues there. You can't walk down the streets of Beijing or New Delhi without breathing the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes.

There are mountains and mountains of litter going into the ocean. You can thank the ghettos of India and Pakistan for that. Lack of sewage infrastructure for their population is a big deal.

If you want to see true environmental crises, look no further than those examples I cited above.

Carbon dioxide, in comparison, is something only rich vain Westerners have the luxury to care about.
