Well, maybe you should look up the meaning or the word climate and environment.

And maybe look up local and global.

Did you know that the climate in my house has seen an increase of 100 degrees per century? All caused by anthropogenic factors. Yes, I a human can control the climate and environment in my home.

There are severe air quality issues there. You can't walk down the streets of Beijing or New Delhi without breathing the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes. There are mountains and mountains of litter going into the ocean. You can thank the ghettos of India and Pakistan for that. Lack of sewage infrastructure for their population is a big deal.

So my squiggly light bulbs and set-back thermostat don't mean diddly-squat.

You are confusing pollution with climate.

A person can't control the earth's climate. Even 7 billion persons can't control the earth's climate. To get some perspective on the scale of the earth, lining up 7 billion people side by side wouldn't fill the city limits of Jacksonville Fla. And Jacksonville, Fla is 4.4 millionths of earth's surface. It's less than an ant on an elephant.
