Datek email trade confirmations are not secure. Yet they include quite a bit of what I would call "sensitivie" information. Does anyone else have a problem with the amount of info that goes into trade confirmations? I realize I can give a dummy email address to them such as dummy@datek.com which means the confirms won't even leave datek. But any other email will also be lost this way.

Any opinions?

The IRA fees are pretty high at Datek. There are fees to open, close and maintain an IRA account. Most of the competition charges less or doesn't charge at all.

I think it's fifty bucks to get a stock certificate, but I don't know if that's high or not.
