Ref just missed the call. Unfortunate. Now Virginia gets Texas tech. Perhaps another crippled team if Owens' ankle stiffens up. Auburn was a crippled team without their best player, Okeke. Stars have lined up for Virginia.

Upon review, the ref saw the double dribble. He was only 5 feet away and had a direct view. The violation just didn't register in his mind. The rest is history.

Clearly, I'll be pulling for Texas Tech. Just on principle. Virginia shouldn't be in the final. So far they get the lucky dog award.

If the refs let them play, Virginia will have a tough time even scoring. If they call it tight, they will have to score at the free throw line. But with their luck, never know.
