Right. She beat rather long odds. The vast majority of babies that premature have life long medical problems. In many cases, cannot live independently. Not to mention the cost of weeks in a NNICU. Her parents could afford it and ran the risk. And succeeded. But forcing everyone else in that situation to incur those costs and run that risk with the likelihood that they won't win is acceptable to you? You, who had an absolute fit in requiring people to buy health insurance that they will almost certainly need at some point?

Really?

Her mom was pro choice, but on that day became pro life, and never looked back.

That's a ridiculous statement. Surely she didn't sit back and deliberate her political posture while her own baby was struggling.

Or that her political position was input to how she proceeded with her own baby. I cannot imagine that she even considered not allowing her baby to be treated. Lots of babies need help. If they have prospects, you help them. That is not a choice. And certainly not a political choice.

Had her baby been born with two heads and no arms or legs but she persevered demanding treatment the doctors did not advocate, then we would have something to discuss.
