David,
Thanks once again for the notes. Analysts definitely seem to be taking a "show me" attitude toward the company. I'm pleased at first glance with the Micrascan reported situation. I've been too busy to keep up with analyst short term expectations, but if the consensus for earnings was .31 and came in at .37, I'm surprised to see the stock so non-responsive today.
I figure we should know for sure whether the 200/yr by FY 99 is legitimate in 2 quarters, maybe next. I'll admit I'm skeptical, but even a delay of a half year to reach this yield strikes me as quite positive.
Papken sounds very reassuring - it should be interesting to see how it all turns out.

David,

<<1) 17 Micrascans produced in DecQ. 15 shipped.>>>

Were these all Micrascan III with excimer lasers or Micrascan II+ with Hg lamps? Same question for the 1998 forecast for 60-70 machines.

I am new to SVGI so I do not know where they have stopped producing older steppers, make a mix of the new/old steppers, or just the newer models.

Thanks.
