George,

Good to hear from you!! Your statement: <<I thought Sakura was to put 6m into New Co.> probably stems from the press release;

..Gombrich, who will serve as Chairman of the new entity, explained that an initial combined capital infusion of greater than $6 million will come from NewCo's partners and investors. "AccuMed will retain at least 50% ownership of NewCo," he said.

My post mentions (from my hearing of todays conference call):

<<*Sakura's contribution; $2.5M cash, new product development,
distribution channels, and cytopathology related inputs??.

It seems you were assuming the full $6M was coming from Sakura!
The release specifically states; ...initial combined capital infusion... with the word combined being the key word.

I should also have mentioned (on my previous post) some of the highlights of todays conference call; are deemed reliable but not
warranted!
My hearing is diminished from a lifetime of excessive
noise decibel levels, ie., a ba-zillion gun-shots, loads of high amplitude Rock music (concerts) in the late 60's an 70's, and a summer job of manning a 70-90 lb. infrastructure demolition jack-hammer (ten-hours a day) while I was younger! It's a wonder I can hear anything.

Thankfully the custom of "shooting the messenger" went out with the early Roman-Greco Period. Of course that was only if they brought bad news. Do you think the highlights of the conference call were that bad?
