I don't remember Barr saying "spies" gave it to Wikileaks. He said Guccifer 2.0 gave it to them.

Assange has stated it did not come from any "state". Guccifer is not a state.

Again, it probably isn't Barr's opinion... he's only relaying what Mueller's guys said... without vouching for it beyond presenting it as part of the process. The rest, I suspect is "wait for it... wait for it..."

As far as in known publicly, they haven't begun the investigation of the investigators yet... and that's what will play out over the next two years... probably ending in Barr before the cameras again, with an "I'm shocked, shocked to have learned that"... in his Casa Blanca capstone moment.

As much as I'd like a process all and only seeking and delivering truth... reality is that what we're going to get is theater... and should begin to count ourselves lucky as it now diverges more from the theater of the absurd.
