I can confirm your post. I picked up Dell XPS H266 with SCSI controlled harddrive, CD, Sound, Mattroxx Millenia 8MB etc.. I have 2 printers and needed just 1 little old LPT port but "the bucket was full" now my back hurts from bending over to swap printer cables. Such a complex machine, such a simple task I can't do.

BTW, can I disable that USB to free up the IRQ?

I'm checking the cpq thread to see whats up..I know estimates got lowerd but this is getting to be a drag. I sure hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
