Janice.. I'd hazard a bottle of wine that if you were to poll one hundred men versus one hundred women on their gut reaction to the word vulnerable you'd find men feeling it threatening, and women finding it less so. What I'm suggesting is that there's a gender difference in the response and understanding of what the word means. There are fewer situations in a boy's and man's life where vulnerability pays off with positive results than with girls and women. This may be nature or nuture but its there.. an example would be crying. Boy's just can't do it without losing face big time. A woman can get away with a major tear jag and it gets alot of sympathy.

I do understand the puppy thing.. was full of joy when I got my dog and full of tears when he died.

Janice, you are only reacting in this sarcastic manner, because Christine brought up this subject.

"guys who'll open up and tell you they cried when their puppy died".

No, that is not what we mean! You should know better, being a female?

BTW, I been conscious of you sniping away at Christine for weeks, everytime she expresses an opinion about anything at all. Why? If you have a problem, deal with it for goodness sake.

I think I said somewhere other women called us bitch when they are jealous of us and men show us attention. Are you jealous of Christine, because it sure seems that way?

Now, I will go talk to Jim, because he has more"vulnerability/empathy" than you.
