Another really important thing falling between the cracks... I pointed to it earlier today. It obviously is a HUGE problem that the FBI has been enlisted in "dirty tricks"... ie., crimes... that have them deeply engaged in trying to pick winners and losers in our elections. It is a lie, of course, that it was "Russia, Russia, Russia"... which isn't giving Russia a pass... its just pointing out a couple of issues in misdirection: 1.) The FBI was supposed to keep us safe from Russian efforts to interfere... and they failed spectacularly. The fact that they failed was an enormous help to Russia... as they sought to interfere. Why did that failure occur ? What was the point of failure ? Who intended for that failure to occur, and what did they do to enable it ? 2.) The FBI chose to USE their unique awareness of Russian efforts... to blame Russia for things the FBI was doing. So, the FBI was engaged in failing in their job... on purpose... to be able to use "Russian" activity as a cover for their own illicit actions taken against American national interests. 3.) In fostering disruptions and blaming Russia for them... while also failing in not preventing Russian efforts trying to foster division... the FBI was deliberately doing Russia's job for them... and it is not at all clear that we know the extent of the damage done, while the FBI was "helping" Russia. In what other ways were they "helping" ? That's also obviously a huge legal and political problem... but its not just a legal and political problem. The implications... are... hmmm. 4.) Meanwhile... we're still trusting the FBI is "looking our for us"... instead of seeking and finding other ways to harm us... in order to advance their own interests at our expense, or otherwise engaged in advancing the interests of others ? Not a one of them should still have a security clearance... Confidence cannot be restored by ignoring all of the above... ? It's been very quiet... which is not good ? Burn it down and start over ? How has Russia used the "dropping of the defenses" that CLEARLY DID OCCUR to further penetrate agencies ? I can't tell yet where the FBI's actions <against our interests> begin and end... but, I can tell that the greatest danger to the country I can see right now comes FROM the FBI... including that the FBI has been helping Russia advance its agenda by having the FBI's own actions succeeding in taking out the FBI... Involving the FBI in a circular firing squad... has to have Putin rolling on the floor laughing at Obama and Hillary. I'm not laughing. Comey is an idiot - a halfwit. Inspector Clouseau is a hero because he's a funny and good natured idiot who succeeds anyway, in spite of himself. His "professional" antagonist former Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus... is far more of a failure than Clouseau. Comey wins the Dreyfus award... for the most destructive FBI agent in American history. Anyone he ever worked for, that promoted him, needs to be fired... or at least be considered a major risk and an unknown. Anyone Comey ever promoted... clearly suspect. I'd stop there... if I thought Comey was "self made"... but that clearly is not the case. There obviously are others above him... who put him where he was... for purpose. This is so much more than "political hi-jinks"... which is what Watergate is reduced to in comparison. If it happens that tomorrow I become aware of an ongoing conspiracy to destroy our country... who am I supposed to call ? I'll have to assume that the FBI is probably a part of it, behind it... so I can't call them... ???
