Sweet Ol you are right on. Solar Flares on the face of the sun facing Earth . In late 90's 160/day on average . So far this year 1 or 2 when we have them . Most days sun is blank .

Maunder Minimum no flares , or low # , for 50 years . 1600's ice on the Ever Glades type of cold . First 4 months of this year zero or 1 to 2 /day . Colder this fall and 2020 start of the colder climate .

Exactly! According to my calculation method, called, "dead reckoning", we are in for a new mini-ice age sometime in the next few hundred thousand years or thereabouts. However, we may also have a strong bout of global warming sometime in the next couple or three million years--give or take!
