To Andreas,

If the street thought CPQ was going to beat estimates by a mile the stock wouldn't have been siiting in a neutral state the past few days. I believe Wall Street knows where the earnings will fall and from the action on the stock it will probably be right around the estimate. Only one man's opinion. Love CPQ as a long term investment. I like it to be near $50 by year's end!

Howie

Re:>Expectations out there are very high<

Good luck to you all!

No position in CPQ right now, but I'll guess $0.87, 23,345,000, $28.50 closing.

Reasoning: CPQ wants to come in over est., but not to unduly waste firepower, because they know the q ending Mar 31 is traditionally slower. According to steve they can take some sales and put them in reserve like MSFT does; pulling them out to help out a qtr that needs it. Even though CPQ comes in 5% over est, street puts fair amt of selling pressure on in anticipation of slower qtr ending Mar 31 (current q), and for not posting even stronger #s, like 15% over est ($0.95).

When I have no position in CPQ it's easier to guess more conservative.
